Description
-The Sonoran Gold turquoise in this piece reminds me of a nebula with its depth and colour. There are mossy greens, palest pinks, turquoise and duck egg blues, browns, greys and black with tiny speckles of pyrite giving this stone the illusion that it is lit from within. Mined in Senora, Mexico near Nogales, Arizona. The turquoise from this mine is rare and considered both esoteric and valuable. This stone has had the Zachary treatment for a better wearing stone as Sonoran Gold stones generally need stabilising.
-Set in a hand-worked and hand-stamped piece of silver, all silver is Sterling 925.
-Strung on a strand of rare and beautiful hand-made trade style glass beads.
-Hand made silver bead and cone detail.
-Deerskin leather (vegan alternatives are possible)
-The necklace is strung on spun steel which is strong but flexible.
-All the silver within this piece has been hand-aged to give an old-time heirloom look.

The necklace is sized to fit over the head with a drop of 32cm from centre back of beaded necklace to top point of pendant.

All my silver pieces are very limited, should the item you choose be out of stock at the time of ordering please contact me to discuss options. As the stones and beads within this piece are natural and hand cut, please expect slight variation in shade and shape. Traditional jewellery making techniques are used to make all pieces- piercing, shaping, stamping, soldering, stone setting and polishing etc are all done by me and by hand. No mass made cookie cut production here. Each piece will be different to the next and this is what makes every piece unique. I have an ever changing supply of stones and therefore custom orders are possible. Prices vary due to the carat, type and rarity of the stone, also due to the amount and weight of sterling used in each piece.
Please check your string regularly to check for any wear. This stringing steel is very strong, but overtime this could start to wear and your piece will need restringing.
